The Basics: People are always telling us what to do and what not to do. Cuando se trata de consejos, and especially if you didn’t ask for them, you just ignore them. In spite of several warnings about “Mood” nightclub, if you like to party hardy you know that it’s not really so much about the place and the music as it is about the people you go with. Apparently there are a couple of exceptions to that, and “Mood” happens to be one of them.  Sure, the place is conveniently located on Hollywood Blvd., it looks nice and inviting… but alas, looks can be deceiving.

For starters, “Mood” looks bigger than what it really is- it just consists of a rather small dance floor, a couple bars, and a faux indoor smoking area. 

When it comes to age and ethnicity, the crowd at this joint is very mixed… everyone over 21 of course.  The music is also an eclectic mix of pop, hip-hop, Top 40, as well as some 80’s and flashback here and there. 

The parking situation is bad as expected, “Mood” has valet parking service, but it’s known to be iffy… so you might wanna ditch it. 

The drinks are priced accordingly to the area; however, the taste and strength are not on par. 

Even if you’re a firm believer of having a good time anywhere as long as you have your buds and some booze, you might wanna change your belief system after checking out this joint.

De nada le sirve tan buena localidad and its chic looks.  In the end, “Mood” is just another overrated El Lay nightclub where the girls are hot and the guys are not.
